The Harrisburg Alumni Association

Center fielder Brandon Watson 23 years ago today becomes the second Harrisburg Senator of the team’s modern era – first baseman Ron Johns being the first in 1987 – to pick up six hits in a game.

Watson’s six hits are all singles in the Senators’ 12-8 victory at Akron.

Watson eventually reaches the major leagues in 2005 with Washington, where he picks up a double and home run in two of his first three at-bats for the Nationals.
