Onetime Harrisburg Senators pitching coach Paul Menhart throws his only complete game – a one-hitter, too – in the majors 31 years ago today.

The game, though, is a bittersweet one for Menhart, then a rookie with the 1995 Toronto Blue Jays, as his masterpiece is spoiled by Harold Baines’ second-inning, solo homer in the Baltimore Orioles’ 1-0 victory at Camden Yards.
