Shawn Hill punctuates his Class AA debut 23 years ago today by becoming the first pitcher in the Harrisburg Senators’ modern era to hit a grand slam.

Hill’s second-inning drive to left field – also coming in his first pro at-bat – accounts for all of the Senators’ runs in their 4-2 victory over Altoona at Blair County Ballpark.
