Every Harrisburg batter either gets a hit, scores a run or drives home a run during an 11-run third inning of the Senators’ 12-2 rout of Reading in a Class AA Eastern League game 23 years ago today at RiverSide Stadium.
At the time, the runs are the most scored in one inning at RiverSide since pro baseball returns to City Island in 1987.
Three weeks later, the Senators again score 11 runs in the ninth inning of a 14-3 victory at Erie.
