Longtime major league infielder Geoff Blum on traveling in the minor leagues during the late 1990s, when during one Class AA season he and his teammates have a stretch of playing 15 of 17 games on the road:

“After being on that bus for 40 hours over the last week and a half, I forgot what life looked like. Everything to me was whatever was two rows in front of me.”
