Onetime Harrisburg Senators wunderkind Stephen Strasburg strikes out nine batters in only six innings against Kansas City 16 years ago today at Washington’s Nationals Park, giving him 41 strikeouts in his first four major league starts.

Alas for Strasburg, the Nationals lose to the Royals 1-0.
