The Harrisburg Alumni Association

Onetime Harrisburg Senators Cliff Lee and Milton Bradley are selected 18 years ago today to represent the American League for the upcoming 2008 All-Star Game at soon-to-be-demolished Yankee Stadium.

Lee, then pitching for the Cleveland Indians, and Bradley, the Texas Rangers' designated hitter, become the second pair of former Harrisburg players to start in the same All-Star Game – the first pair being Montreal second baseman Jose Vidro and Expos outfielder Vladimir Guerrero for the National League in the 2002 game in Milwaukee.

Lee appears in three All-Star Games from 2008 to 2011 for three different teams -- Cleveland, Texas and Philadelphia.

The game in 2008 is Bradley's lone All-Star Game appearance in a meteoric career that ends in 2011.
