Dee Brown setting history in Japan

Former major league outfielder and onetime Harrisburg Senator Dee Brown homers twice off Masaru Takeda to lead the Seibu Lions to a 4-0 victory over the Nippon Nam Fighters 16 years ago today in Japan.

His second homer is the 90,000th one hit in league history.

Brown, who spends part of the 2005 season with Harrisburg, plays two seasons in Japan, retiring in 2011 after 16 seasons in pro baseball.
