Less than a year after starting the wildest game ever played on Harrisburg's historic City Island – that would be Game 5 of the 1999 Class AA Eastern League finals – and then being traded to the New York Yankees, onetime Senators pitcher Jake Westbrook is repackaged 26 years ago today.

This time, Westbrook is sent from the Bronx, along with pitcher Zach Day and outfielder Ricky Ledee, to Cleveland for outfielder David Justice.

Westbrook emerges over the next eight-plus seasons to become an All-Star and mainstay in the Indians’ rotation before moving on to St. Louis and helping the Cardinals win the 2011 World Series.
