The Harrisburg Alumni Association

The Montreal Expos hire former Chicago Cubs outfielder Jim Tracy 33 years ago today to manage their prized Class AA affiliate in Harrisburg.

All Tracy does in 1993 is lead the Senators to 100 victories between the regular season and postseason en route to the Eastern League title.

Tracy eventually returns to the major leagues, first as a bench coach for Expos manager Felipe Alou and later as the manager for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies.
