The Harrisburg Senators lose their 11th straight game 39 years ago today, a modern franchise record for futility that lasts until 2009.

The skid for the 1987 Senators ends the next game with a 7-2 victory over Williamsport.

No worries for the ’87 Senators, who rally at the end of the season to win the Class AA Eastern League title.
