Israel Alcantara, then a corner infielder for the Class AA Harrisburg Senators, homers in his franchise-record sixth straight game 29 years ago today in a 6-2 Eastern League victory at Portland.

Alcantara finishes the 1997 season with 27 homers in only 89 games for Harrisburg.
