Who was that masked man?
Well, someone has to be first and, in this case, that someone is Charlie O’Brien, who 30 years ago today becomes the first catcher to wear a hockey-style, cage mask for the Toronto Blue Jays in their 4-1 loss to the New York Yankees before a Friday night crowd of 31,227 at SkyDome.
