The Harrisburg Alumni Association

Washington's Ryan Zimmerman picks up a couple of walks in the Nationals' 6-3 victory 17 years ago today at San Francisco, but the onetime Harrisburg Senators third baseman goes hitless in his three other trips to the plate to snap his hitting streak at 30 games.

His streak of 30 games is one shy of the franchise record set by Vladimir Guerrero, another onetime Senator, in 1999 – back when the Nationals were the Montreal Expos.
