Matt Holliday slides under the tag of Michael Barrett 19 years ago today

Onetime Harrisburg Senators infielder Jamey Carroll lifts the Colorado Rockies into the National League playoffs 19 years ago today as his sacrifice fly in the 13th inning scores Matt Holliday under the tag of San Diego catcher Michael Barrett for a 9-8 victory over the Padres in a special 163rd play-in game at Coors Field.

Like Carroll, Barrett is a onetime Senator and their most valuable player during Harrisburg’s 1998 championship season.
