Say what?
There are 409 people smart enough 47 years ago today to elect the incomparable Willie Mays into the Hall of Fame.
Then, too, there are 23 among the 432 voting members from the Baseball Writers Association of America who inexplicably fail to cast a ballot for Mays, arguably the greatest all-around talent to ever play the game.
Geez, 23 people, really?
