Jose Vidro has a busy game for the Montreal Expos 25 years ago today as he collects a single and double off Florida's Ryan Dempster in a 3-1 loss to the Florida Marlins at Olympic Stadium.

The fourth-inning double is Vidro’s 46th of the season on his way to a career-high 51.

The single and double also give him 188 hits, tying him for the Expos’ single-season record for a second baseman set in 1977 by Dave Cash.

The underappreciated Vidro finishes the season with 200 hits, another personal best in a 12-year career that includes three All-Star Game appearances.
