Turning 62

This young man, seen here on the San Francisco Giants bench with his godfather – the incomparable Willie Mays – is no longer, well, really all that young anymore.

Today marks the 62nd birthday of that one-time young man, who grows up to become the leading home run hitter in baseball history.

And, of course, that erstwhile young man is Barry Bonds, whose father Bobby, is a teammate of Mays from 1968-72.
